Tire Amnesty Day
Old tires are often abandoned in the right of ways, on vacant lots or even in abandoned houses.
In 2014 the City of Pampa Solid Waste Department applied for a grant from PRPC to host a tire amnesty day where people could rid their property of unwanted tires.
The event will kick off on April 11th and run through April 18th at noon.
The tire trailer will be picked up by a contractor and delivered down state. He will leave an empty trailer at the landfill for us to fill.
Everyone within the City limits other than contractors or businesses are encouraged to participate.
