The City of Pampa operates an Operation Community Pride bulky waste collection for residential dwellings on City Water Service and within the city limits. The city will collect and dispose of bulky waste from residential dwellings which is placed at the curb in front of the residence adjacent to the public street. No pickup will be made if any vehicle is parked in the street obstructing the debris. Pickup is scheduled approximately every 4 weeks. Items are to be placed at the curbside no earlier (or later) than the weekend just before the scheduled Monday of collection. This schedule is subject to change due to demand, but items must be at the curb/road side by 7 a.m. to ensure pick up. We will pick up within 5 working days.

Fines for illegal dumping will be according to applicable provisions of Pampa City Ordinances.
Contractor Service
Any business and/or contractor, tree removal or construction contractor involved in remodeling, building, construction or other projects is responsible for hauling any bulky waste from a work site to the City of Pampa landfill. Such items are not eligible for Operation Community Pride removal.
Violations
Leaving bulky items out for extended periods of time makes our city look unsightly and defeats the purpose of Operation Community Pride. The Code Enforcement Officer will contact anyone violating the ordinance instructing them to remove the debris.
If the property owner does not comply, the city will have the items removed at the property owner’s expense. The cost of removal (a minimum of $75 per load and $30 administration fee) will be added to the water bill.
